The desulfurization tower operates on the principle of gas-liquid contact, transferring pollutants from gas to liquid, then separating clean gas from contaminated liquid to achieve air purification.
Particulate pollutants are removed through contact with detergent, where droplets diffuse onto particles for separation via gravity and inertia. Gaseous pollutants transfer into washing liquids through turbulence, molecular diffusion, and chemical reactions.
The system features reverse adsorption treatment: liquid sprays downward from the top as mist while exhaust gas flows upward from the bottom, enabling effective gas-liquid contact. This process cools exhaust gases, conditions gas flow, removes particles, and treats emissions before atmospheric discharge.
