SUN Overflow Valve RPIC-LAN For Corrosive Environments Pilot-Operated Balanced-Piston Relief Cartridges

Pilot-operated, balanced-piston relief cartridges are normally closed pressure regulating valves. When the pressure at the inlet (port 1) reaches the valve setting, the valve starts to open to tank (port 2), throttling flow to regulate the pressure.

These valves feature:

• High accuracy with low pressure rise vs. flow
• Smooth, quiet operation with moderate response speed
• Physical and functional interchangeability for all 2-port relief cartridges (same flow path and cavity for given frame size)
• EPDM seals for phosphate ester fluid systems (incompatible with petroleum-based fluids)
• 150-micron stainless steel screen protecting main stage orifice
• Floating style construction to minimize internal binding
