The SUN RDHA-LWV is a pilot-operated, balanced-piston relief cartridge valve designed for low pressure rise and fast response. This normally closed pressure regulating valve begins opening to tank (port 2) when inlet pressure (port 1) reaches the set value, effectively throttling flow to maintain system pressure.

For optimal performance, select a spring range where your desired relief setting falls in the mid-to-high range between minimum and maximum pressures. The valve is suitable for load holding applications, with tank port back pressure directly additive to the setting at a 1:1 ratio.
