SUN Cartridge Valve MAEP-DHN LoadMatch Trade Control For Safe And Load Control

The SUN MAEP-DHN cartridge valve is a self-setting counterbalance valve that combines multiple functions in one package including reverse free flow, load, and thermal relief. The check allows free flow from the directional valve (port 2) to the load (port 1) while a direct-acting pilot function self-adjusts to approximately 1.3 times the load induced pressure up to the thermal relief setting.

The innovative LoadMatch™ control enables dynamic adjustment of the valve setting in response to load pressure while maintaining a fixed thermal relief setting. This technology provides:

• Dynamic settings lower than thermal relief settings for safe, reliable load control
• Reduced pilot pressure requirements compared to conventional counterbalance valves
• Improved performance under most loading conditions

Performance Specifications:

• H range: Maximum load holding pressure 3080 psi (212 bar), cracking pressure 3850-4250 psi (265-293 bar)
• J range: Maximum load holding pressure 3850 psi (265 bar), cracking pressure 4800-5300 psi (331-365 bar)
• Identical percentage difference between cracking and reseat values for LoadMatch™ versions
