Product Description
There are three most commonly used sealing materials for solenoid valves. NBR nitrile rubber is made of butadiene and acrylonitrile by emulsion polymerization, nitrile rubber is mainly produced by low temperature emulsion polymerization, with excellent oil resistance, high wear resistance, good heat resistance and strong adhesion.
NBR Nitrile Rubber Characteristics:
- Excellent oil resistance (second only to polysulfide rubber and fluorine rubber)
- High wear resistance and good air tightness
- Good water resistance and bonding properties
- Widely used in oil-resistant products like tubing, gaskets, bushings, and flexible packaging
- Common in automotive, aviation, petroleum, and printing industries
- Not resistant to ozone, aromatic, halogenated hydrocarbons, ketones, and ester solvents
EPDM Ethylene Propylene Diene Rubber:
- Superior oxidation, ozone, and erosion resistance
- Lowest specific gravity among rubbers
- Excellent heat, light, and chemical resistance
- Low water absorption and good insulation properties
- Completely saturated main polymer chain for enhanced durability
