SUN Direction Valve FSES-XAN Synchronizing Flow Divider / Combiners For Hydraulic Systems

Synchronizing flow divider/combiners are sliding-spool, pressure-compensated devices designed to split flow in one direction and combine flow in the opposite direction. These valves feature a synchronizing capability that enables two hydraulic cylinders to fully stroke and synchronize at the end of their movement.

When the first cylinder completes its stroke, a pressure-compensated, reduced flow is metered to or from the second cylinder until it also reaches the end of its stroke. All flow divider and divider/combiner cartridges are physically interchangeable within the same frame size.

• Divisional Accuracy: 50% ±4.5% at minimum input flow, 50% ±2.5% at maximum input flow
• Pressure Drop: 30 psi at minimum rated input flow, 350 psi at maximum rated input flow
• Operating characteristics prioritize flow to the circuit leg with greatest load in dividing mode
• Compensating characteristics prioritize flow to the circuit leg with lowest load in combining mode

In applications with rigid mechanisms between multiple actuators, operating inaccuracy may cause system lock-up. For motor circuits, factors like motor displacement differences, wheel diameter variance, and friction can affect speed consistency and may lead to cavitation or pressure intensification.
