II. Precautions for use
Installation requirements
Step-by-step direct-acting solenoid valves must be installed horizontally, otherwise they may cause abnormal movement due to gravity.
When connecting the pipeline, it is necessary to clean the pipeline impurities to avoid clogging the small holes of the valve body (especially pilot solenoid valves).
Medium and environment adaptation
The medium needs to be clean, and a filter should be installed when it contains particulate matter to prevent the valve core from getting stuck or the seal from wearing.
The working pressure/temperature must not exceed the valve calibration range to avoid seal failure or component deformation (such as the piston type pressure limit of 2.5MPa).
Electrical and maintenance points
Direct-acting solenoid valves are sensitive to power supply voltage fluctuations, and stable power supply must be ensured.
Regularly check the seals (such as rubber diaphragms) and spring conditions, and replace aging parts in time.
When powered on for the first time, manually half-open the valve to verify that the switch direction is consistent with the indicator disk.
Key factors for selection
Diameter limitation: Direct-acting type is suitable for small-diameter scenarios ≤25mm, and pilot-operated type is required for large-diameter scenarios.
Pressure difference conditions: The pilot-operated type requires a starting pressure difference between the inlet and outlet, otherwise it will not work properly.
Special working conditions: Direct-acting type is preferred in zero-pressure/vacuum environments, and piston-type structure is used in high-pressure scenarios.
Tip: Some self-acting regulating valves do not require external power supply, but rely on medium pressure drive, and pressure signal pipes must be reserved during design.
