1.Description    

BGD 875 Single-sided Exposure Condensation Chamber is designed according to GB/T 13893-2008 "Determination of Humidity Resistance of Color Paint and Varnish Continuous Condensation Method" (equivalent to ISO 6270 standard part 1) and ASTM D 4585, which is used to evaluate the humidity resistance of coatings, paint systems and their similar products in high humidity environments with continuous condensation. The test method specifies a continuous condensation performance test that may occur on the surface of a coating under severe exposure conditions. It is adapted to coating systems including porous substrates (e.g., wood, gypsum, and paper-faced gypsum boards) and non-porous substrates (e.g., metals), etc., and reveals phenomena such as damage to the coating (including bubbling, staining, softening, wrinkling, and embrittlement), as well as damage to the substrate.
       The instrument simulates the damage to coatings caused by rain and dew by generating continuous condensation on the surface of the sample to be tested, and is characterized by its simple structure, easy operation and high reproducibility of test results.
       This tester is fast, easy to use and affordable. It uses 100% condensing humidity to simulate and accelerate damage caused by rain and dew on metals, paints, and organic materials. It accelerates over natural exposures by increasing moisture temperature. The tester replaces water immersion and ordinary (non-condensing) humidity tests.
