1.Description    

BGD 184 Stormer Viscometer is a relatively classic viscometer. The operator simply lowers the handle of the instrument and immerses the stirring paddle into the sample under test to a specified depth, then the KU value (Krebs) of the altered sample and the load value associated with it can be read directly from this instrument.
The instrument is controlled by a microcomputer. The stirring paddle is driven by a special constant speed motor to rotate at 200 r/min. The moment of resistance to the rotation of the stirring paddle in the sample under test is converted by the computer to a KU value (Krebs Krebs) units (KU) a logarithmic function of the load required to generate the 200 r/min rotational speed, which is generally used to label the viscosity used for brushing and rolling coatings. This instrument performs weighting operations and correlation processing on the data, automatically removing data that is out of the center region and improving the parameters of the instrument's measurement repeatability.
The instrument is designed according to ASTM D 562 standard and GB/T 9269 standard.
