1.Description
The Abbe Refractometer is an instrument capable of determining the refractive index nD and the average dispersion nF-nC of transparent and semi-transparent liquids or solids (mainly transparent liquids). If the instrument is equipped with a thermostat, the refractive index nD can be measured at temperatures ranging from 0 to 70°. The refractive index and the average dispersion are one of the most important optical constants of a substance, and can be used in conjunction with the optical properties, purity, concentration, and dispersion of a substance. This instrument and can measure the sucrose solution containing sugar concentration percentage, so this instrument is widely used, is the petroleum industry, oil and grease industry, pharmaceutical industry, paint industry, food industry, daily-use chemical industry, sugar industry and geological survey and other related factories, schools and research units indispensable to one of the commonly used equipment.
