Structural form: Mainly using cold-formed thin-walled steel or lightweight hot-rolled steel as materials, and forming a portal frame through welding or bolt connections, including columns, beams, roof trusses, etc.
Prefabricated construction: Most of the components are pre-manufactured in the factory, and then assembled and installed on site, reducing the construction time and labor intensity on site.
Application: It is mainly used for storing goods, featuring a large span and large space, and is suitable for storing various types of goods, such as raw materials and finished products.
Steel columns will be H section steel, square tube steel according to different type of buildings. Steel beams are usually H section steel.
The entire primary members and secondary members are designed and fully fabricated including cut-to-length, punching, drilling, welding and performing in the factory before shipping to the site for erection.
At the site, all components are assembled and jointed via nut & bolt connections; thereby reducing the costs and assembly times.
These buildings can be provided with different structural and non-structural additions such as ventilators, doors & windows, trusses, mezzanine floors, canopies, crane, insulation…, based on the customer's requirements.
1. Construction speed
Prefabricated components are produced in factories, where quality control is more stringent. The on-site installation efficiency is high, significantly shortening the construction period.For example, the construction of traditional concrete structure warehouses may take several months, while prefabricated light steel structure warehouses can usually complete the main structure installation within a few weeks.
Light steel structures use less material and have a light weight, with relatively simple foundation treatment, reducing foundation costs.Prefabrication reduces on-site wet work, lowering labor costs and material waste.
3. High space utilization
The portal frame structure can achieve large-span design, with no or few columns inside, facilitating the storage and transportation of goods.For example, a column-free space of up to 30 meters or even larger can be achieved, enhancing the flexibility of warehouse use.
4. Good seismic performance
Light steel structures have good ductility and toughness. Under seismic action, they can dissipate energy through deformation, reducing structural damage.Tests have shown that light steel structures exhibit excellent seismic performance in seismic simulation tests.
5. Good environmental performance
Light steel structure materials can be recycled, meeting environmental requirements.Construction-generated construction waste is minimal, with a small environmental impact.
6. Long durability
The steel surface is treated with anti-corrosion measures, effectively resisting corrosion and extending the service life.Under normal use and maintenance conditions, the service life of light steel structure warehouses can reach over 50 years.

1. Steel raw material price
Fluctuations of steel raw material price have impact on the price of steel structure building. The big change in steel price will directly cause the overall price of steel structure building to change.
2. Load
Load includes wind load, snow load, dead load, and live load. The engineers calculate the steel structure Qty. based on the load. Large load, more steel structure will be used.
3. The span of the steel frame
Usually, the span of steel frame will controlled in 36m. The larger of the span, the greater the amount of steel structure per square meter. If the steel frame has a large span and no center pillar, the amount of steel used will increase.
4. Structure
If the building has glass curtain wall, crane or mezzanine floor, canopy, etc., to ensure the safe, steel structure will be increased.

Packaging&Shipping
The packing method for main steel frame use steel pallet, This method packing can better protect the steel frame, and alos the loading and unloading will be fast and convenient since it could be taken as a whole.(see attached photo). The best advantage can save the quantity of shipping contaier, so it will save the cost of ocean freight, save unlading time and cost.
Erection
Upon customer request, we could send our engineer to guide the installation, or a small team to install at the same time, teaching local workers to install, or enough workers to install all the goods by ourselves. It depends on whether the cost is economic.
