The DX-LED-01 is a 5 NM cold-region solar marine lantern designed to provide reliable navigation marking in polar, high-latitude and other low-temperature marine environments.

Its sealed lantern body works with an external solar charging system and a protected low-temperature LiFePO₄ battery pack. Multi-GNSS positioning, Bluetooth configuration and optional AIS, GSM or satellite communication allow the system to be adapted to remote sites with difficult weather, limited sunlight and restricted access.

Built for Low-Temperature Marine Operation

Severe cold affects more than the lantern housing. It can also reduce battery performance, charging efficiency, and start-up reliability.

The DX-LED-01 combines a sealed lantern body, low-temperature LiFePO₄ battery, external solar charging and cold-resistant internal components to support dependable marine operation down to −40°C.

Power Options for Low Sunlight and Polar Sites

Customers working at high latitudes often need to consider both low temperatures and limited solar charging.

The DX-LED-01 uses an external solar panel and a low-temperature LiFePO₄ battery pack, allowing the power equipment to be arranged according to the installation site. A two-panel configuration is available for polar or low-sunlight projects where additional solar collection is required.

This flexible layout helps engineers match the solar capacity, battery placement, and installation structure to actual site conditions instead of relying on a fixed integrated power package.

Multi-GNSS Positioning and Local Mobile Access

The system supports GPS, BeiDou and GLONASS positioning and synchronisation, giving project teams more flexibility when selecting satellite-navigation support for different regions.

Technicians can also connect locally through Bluetooth using Android or iOS devices. This allows field configuration without depending on mobile-network or internet coverage, which is especially useful at remote coastal, offshore and high-latitude sites.

Communication Options for Remote Projects

The DX-LED-01 can be configured according to how the site needs to communicate.

AIS AtoN Communication

The DX-LED-01-AIS supports Type 1 and Type 3 AIS AtoN operation with FATDMA, RATDMA and SOTDMA modes.

It transmits AtoN information through the AIS network, with a typical communication range of 15–20 NM depending on antenna installation and local conditions.

GSM Remote Monitoring

The DX-LED-01-GSM connects to the Satvora 360 platform through a local SIM card or factory-provided global SIM service.

Operators can use PC or mobile access for status monitoring, alarms, records and remote configuration, helping reduce unnecessary travel to difficult sites.

Satellite Communication

Satellite communication can be customised for remote regions where GSM coverage is weak or unavailable.
