Product Description
2400 mm Low-Maintenance LLDPE Polyethylene Navigation Buoy for IALA Channel Marking and AIS AtoN Integration
High Buoyancy | Reduced Repainting | Flexible AtoN Integration

The DX-PE2400A is a large polyethylene navigation buoy designed for projects that require dependable flotation without the regular repainting associated with a traditional steel float.

Its rotationally moulded LLDPE float, EPS foam filling and galvanized steel framework provide a practical platform for long-term navigation marking and future equipment upgrades.

2400 mm Diameter · 6,000 kg Total Buoyancy · LLDPE Float · IALA Configuration · Smart AtoN Ready
Lower Maintenance Than a Traditional Steel Float

The polyethylene float does not rust and does not require the same repainting schedule as a fully steel buoy. This makes the DX-PE2400A suitable for customers looking to reduce routine coating work and simplify long-term maintenance.

The upper frame and keel structure are manufactured from hot-dip galvanized Q235 carbon steel, combining a low-maintenance float with the strength required for lifting, mooring and equipment installation.

The 2400 mm LLDPE Marine Buoy DX-PE2400A can be supplied with a marine lantern and AIS AtoN, while RACON, remote monitoring, communication modules and selected environmental sensors can be evaluated according to project requirements.

Dexonmarine can coordinate:

  •     Buoy structure and equipment layout
  •     Marine lantern and AIS AtoN
  •     Power supply and battery capacity
  •     Communication and monitoring options
  •     Mooring system requirements

Before production, Dexonmarine reviews the buoy structure, selected AtoN equipment, mounting interface, power supply and communication requirements as one system configuration. This helps confirm that the main components are properly matched before deployment.

Configured for the Required IALA Mark

The topmark helps identify the buoy’s function during daylight.

Dexonmarine can configure the buoy with the appropriate IALA topmark, colour and light characteristic for lateral, cardinal, special, isolated danger, safe water or emergency wreck marking, according to Region A or Region B and local authority requirements.

Typical Applications

Dexonmarine 2400 mm LLDPE Polyethylene Navigation Buoy is suitable for:

  •     Channel and waterway marking
  •     Harbour and port approaches
  •     Coastal navigation routes
  •     Large navigation marks
  •     AIS AtoN buoy systems
  •     Monitoring-oriented buoy projects
  •     Projects requiring future equipment expansion

Integrated Buoy and AtoN Configuration

Dexonmarine combines buoy manufacturing with marine lantern, AIS AtoN, RACON and remote-monitoring capabilities.

This allows the buoy structure, equipment layout, power system and communication configuration to be reviewed together instead of treating each component as a separate purchase.
