The working principle of the ejector pin is to push the molded product out of the mold by applying pressure to its tip. During the injection molding process, when the molten resin fills the cavity, the tip of the ejector pin is under pressure. Since the ejector pin is in the shape of a long and thin pin, if a large compressive load is applied to the end, it may cause the middle part of the pin to bend or break. This phenomenon is called "buckling".
