Knockout pin is also called ejector pin. It is a pin fixed on the frame to eject the plastic part from the mold. When the mold is opened, the rear mold plate moves back, and the ejector pin pushes against the top plate on the mold through the hole reserved on the movable mold plate to eject the product. The length of the ejector pin can be adjusted according to the mold thickness and mold opening distance, and the number of ejector pins is determined by the structure of the injection molding machine. This ejection method is the simplest and most common type of mechanical ejection structure. The ejector pin is easy to process and easy to replace, and has a good demolding effect, but it is difficult to achieve multiple ejections.
