The design of the ejector pin usually includes a straight rod part and a shoulder part. The straight rod part is divided into a sliding part and a non-sliding part. The sliding part is inserted into the mounting hole of the core and moves by friction during each injection, so high-precision machining and surface roughness treatment are required. The non-sliding part cooperates with the shoulder part. Since the root of the shoulder part suddenly changes to a step shape, stress concentration is easily generated, so sometimes annealing is performed at the root to release stress.
