Definition and classification of White Top Testliner Board/WTL:

It has both the high strength of White Top Testliner Board/WTL and the excellent printability of the white surface, and is widely used in high-end packaging.

There are two main production processes:

1. Hang a layer of bleached wood pulp on the surface of ordinary White Top Testliner Board/WTL

or White Top Testliner Board/WTL to form a white surface layer.

2. On the basis of White Top Linerboard/ WTL, kaolin or calcium carbonate is coated to make the surface smoother and more delicate

Main features of white kraft paper/WTL:

1. It has high burst resistance, tensile strength, stiffness and hardness, and is suitable for making load-bearing packaging.

2. The white surface is suitable for water-based ink and water-based ink printing, and the color expression is better than white kraft paper/WTL.

3. It uses recycled pulp as the bottom layer, has excellent printing suitability and high color reproduction, and is suitable for offset printing, gravure printing, flexographic printing and UV printing.

4. It can be recycled and conforms to the trend of green packaging.

Uses of white kraft cardboard:

Coated grade: Surface coated with kaolin or calcium carbonate, smooth and delicate, high color reproduction, suitable for offset printing, UV printing, hot stamping

Semi-coated/lightly coated grade: lightly coated, balance between cost and printing effect, flexographic printing, ink printing

Uncoated grade: matte surface, low cost, suitable for simple printing, silk screen printing, ordinary offset printing
