Large Alloy Steel Open Die Forgings for Wind Turbine Main Shaft Applications. Our Large Alloy Steel Open Die Forgings are specifically engineered for wind turbine main shaft applications, offering exceptional performance under high torsional loads and fluctuating environmental conditions. Manufactured from high-strength alloy steels such as 42CrMo4, 18CrNiMo7-6, or customer-specified grades, these forgings exhibit excellent toughness, fatigue resistance, and dimensional stability.

Produced using open die forging with Electrohydraulic hammer , each piece is heat treated and rough according to customer specifications. The typical forging ratio ≥ 3.0 ensures uniform grain flow and improved internal integrity, essential for the demanding lifecycle of offshore and onshore wind turbines.
