S165M stainless steel 1.4418 stainless steel bar is a corrosion resistant hydropower bar (X4CrNiMo16-5-1) with excellent performance characteristics.
1.4418 is an austenitic stainless steel material with good corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. Its chemical composition includes 16-18% chromium, 1-1.5% nickel, and 0.1-0.3% molybdenum, providing excellent resistance to common corrosive media like acids and alkalis. With 0.03-0.06% carbon content, it achieves optimal hardness and strength.
The austenite phase structure gives 1.4418 excellent plasticity and machinability, allowing for various forming processes including heat treatment and cold working.
