K435 cast alloy is a nickel-based precipitation hardening equiaxed crystal cast high-temperature alloy with exceptional mechanical properties and corrosion resistance, specifically designed for aerospace, automotive, and industrial applications.
- Operating temperature range below 900°C
- Superior thermal corrosion resistance compared to K438 and IN738 alloys
- Average corrosion depth of only 11.4μm in tests
- Corrosion rate of 0.28mg/(cm²*h) in 90% Na2SO4 + 10% NaCl at 900°C for 200 hours
- Excellent casting performance for complex thin-walled components
- Non-magnetic with good forming and welding properties
| C (Carbon) | 0.06-0.12% |
| Cr (Chromium) | 15.00-16.70% |
| Ni (Nickel) | Remainder |
| Co (Cobalt) | 10.00-12.50% |
| W (Tungsten) | 4.50-6.50% |
| Mo (Molybdenum) | 1.50-2.50% |
| Al (Aluminum) | 2.40-3.20% |
K435 alloy maintains excellent mechanical properties in high temperature environments below 900°C, achieved through optimal composition of 18.5% (Co+W+Mo), 7.5% (Al+Ti+Nb), and 16% Cr with trace elements for solid solution, precipitation, and grain boundary strengthening.
Demonstrates superior heat and corrosion resistance compared to similar alloys, with minimal corrosion depth and rate in extreme conditions, making it ideal for harsh operating environments.
Forms a protective oxide layer that prevents further surface degradation, significantly extending component service life in high temperature applications.
K435 alloy is extensively used in manufacturing critical high-temperature components including:
- Turbine guide vanes for power generation and naval gas turbines
- Aerospace engine components
- Complex thin-walled hollow blades via investment casting
- Precision components repaired using laser additive technology
