Hastelloy C276 Hastelloy alloy plate N10276 flat cold rolled sheet NS334 hot rolled medium and thick plate. The corresponding grades of C276 plates are mainly NS3304, 00Cr15Ni60Mo16W5Fe5 (or 00Cr16Ni60Mo16W4), etc.
C276 alloy, also known as Hastelloy C-276 (Hastelloy C276), is a tungsten-containing nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy. It is widely used in various harsh corrosive environments due to its excellent corrosion resistance.

Alloy c-276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy containing tungsten and extremely low carbon and silicon contents.

These ingredients give C276 plate excellent corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance. For example, the nickel content is as high as 57-59%, which significantly improves the stability of the alloy in various corrosive environments; the molybdenum content is between 15-17%, which enhances its pitting corrosion resistance and resistance in acidic media.
In addition, C276 plate also has good mechanical properties, with a tensile strength of 725-965MPa, a yield strength of 415-565MPa, and an elongation of 45-55%.
Due to its excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties, C276 sheet is widely used in several industries:
- Chemical and petrochemical industry: Used to manufacture components and catalytic systems that come into contact with chloride-containing organic matter, as well as equipment such as oil tanks, oil well pipelines, reactors, and storage tanks
- Marine Engineering: Suitable for seawater corrosive environment, resistant to erosion by wet chlorine, various oxidizing chlorides, chloride salt solutions and other highly corrosive media
- Pharmaceutical and food processing: Used to manufacture medical devices and food processing equipment to ensure stable operation in highly corrosive media
- Pollution control equipment: Such as filters, flue gas desulfurization equipment, etc., utilizing their anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion properties
This alloy has excellent corrosion resistance to most corrosive media in both oxidized and reduced states. The higher molybdenum and chromium content makes the alloy resistant to corrosion by chloride ions, and the tungsten element further improves its corrosion resistance. Hastelloy C-276 is one of the only materials that is resistant to corrosion by moist chlorine, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide solutions.
