Product Description
The 1769-0F8V module features eight (8) single-ended voltage outputs with 16-bit plus sign resolution (bipolar). It supports multiple voltage ranges with precise output capabilities:
- ±10V DC: 15.89 bits resolution, 330 µV/bit
- 0-10V DC: 14.89 bits resolution, 330 µV/bit
- 0-5V DC: 13.89 bits resolution, 330 µV/bit
- 1-5V DC: 13.57 bits resolution, 330 µV/bit
Important Note: Single-ended wiring is more susceptible to noise and electrical disturbance than differential wiring. Ensure proper module and signal grounding for accurate readings.
The module is available in Series A and B. Series A does not support external power supply, while Series B allows connection to an external 24VDC power source.
The module operates by converting binary data from CPU memory registers to analog signals via its internal Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC). Supported data formats include:
- Raw/Proportional data
- Engineering units
- Scaled for PID
- Percent full range
