Installation Guidelines
Important: The 1769-ECR must only be installed or removed when power is removed from the system. Power interruption during installation may cause controller errors and system stoppage.
Installation procedure:
- Lift the bus lever from its engaged position
- Align the ECR module with the guide slots
- Gently push the ECR module until it is adjacent and in line with the CompactLogix module
- Engage the bus lever to connect the ECR module and close the FlexBus
- If resistance is felt during engagement, verify proper alignment with the module and guide slot
