Product Description
The Allen-Bradley 1769-PB4 is a Compact I/O power supply module from the 1769 Compact I/O product family. Designed for industrial applications, this externally powered module operates from 19.2-31.2 VDC with a nominal supply voltage of 24VDC.
  • Provides power for modules mounted to both left and right sides (supports up to 8 modules per side)
  • Current capacity: 4.0 A at 5VDC and 2.0 A at 24VDC
  • Withstands maximum surge current of 30 A
  • Isolation rating: 75V continuous (reinforced insulation, IEC Class 1 grounding required)
  • Tested with 1697V DC for 1 second with DC power input
  • Power consumption: 100 VA @ 24V DC, 14.5 W @ 60°C (140°F)
  • Internal fuse options: Wickmann 19193-6.3A or Littelfuse 021706.3MXP

Installation & Wiring
The 1769-PB4 follows the recommended mounting pattern for CompactLogix products and can be mounted directly to a cabinet subpanel or using a standard DIN rail. For optimal performance, use 14 AWG (2.5 mm²) solid copper wire with:
  • Insulation rating of 90°C (194°F) or higher
  • Maximum insulation thickness of 1.2 mm (3/64 in.)
