Mount the flow switch in a duct or chamber where the air paddle can point horizontally downwards. Provide straight zones of 5 times the duct diameter upstream and downstream from the installation point to prevent air swirl and paddle instability.
Units are factory calibrated to minimum switch-off value. Adjust the range screw clockwise to increase set value. For air speeds exceeding 5.0 m/sec, cut the paddle on the marked side to prevent fracture. When paddle is cut, minimum cut-out value increases from 1.0 m/sec to 2.5 m/sec.
