Mount the flow switch into ducts or chambers where the air paddle can freely point horizontally downwards. Provide straight zones of 5 times the duct diameter upstream and downstream from installation location to avoid air swirl and paddle instability.
Units are factory calibrated to minimum switch-off value. To increase set value, adjust range screw clockwise. For air speeds exceeding 5.0 m/sec, cut paddle on marked side to prevent fracture. When paddle is cut, minimum cut-out value increases from 1.0 m/sec to 2.5 m/sec.
