The Dwyer airflow switch provides reliable feedback of air flow in HVAC duct systems. It can be directly connected to control systems as a feedback point or interlocked to prevent operation of heating and cooling equipment when there is no air flow.

Installation Guidelines
Mount the flow switch into a duct or chamber where the air paddle can freely point horizontally downwards. Provide straight zones for a length of 5 times the duct diameter upstream and downstream from the installation location to avoid air swirl and paddle instability.
Important Notes
Units are factory calibrated to minimum switch-off value. To increase set value, adjust range screw clockwise. For air speeds exceeding 5.0 m/sec, the paddle must be cut off on the marked side. When paddle is cut off, minimum cut-out value increases from 1.0 m/sec to 2.5 m/sec.
