Flow is adjusted by changing the swashplate angle via an external control mechanism (e.g., pressure compensator or manual adjustment). This allows the pump to deliver only the required flow, reducing energy consumption.

• Regularly check for leaks, abnormal noise, or pressure fluctuations
• Monitor fluid cleanliness (ISO 4406 Class 18/16/13 recommended)
• Replace seals and bearings per the manufacturer's service intervals

• Flow instability: Check for air ingress, clogged filters, or worn control pistons
• Pressure drops: Inspect relief valves or compensator settings
• Noise: Verify alignment of the pump and motor shafts, and ensure fluid viscosity is within specs

While optimized for mineral oil, some models (marked "E") can use HFA/HFB/HFC fluids with reduced performance parameters.
