Installation Requirements
- Filtration: Install a precision filter with a rating of 5 microns or less upstream of the servo valve. Maintain hydraulic fluid cleanliness at maximum ISO DIS 4406 Code 16/13 (Code 14/11 recommended).
- System Flushing: Thoroughly flush the entire hydraulic system before installation to remove contaminants. Use a flushing manifold and circulate fluid under normal operation conditions.
- Mounting: Can be mounted in any orientation with proper port alignment. Ensure mounting surface is clean, smooth, and flat. Torque screws to 96 inch-pounds.
- Connections: Use O-ring seal connections (SAE J1926). Prefer crimped or 24-degree cone type connections over welded fittings.
Troubleshooting Guide

Maintenance Guidelines
- Hydraulic Fluid: Maintain recommended cleanliness level. Change oil every six months and keep temperature between 40°C to 50°C.
- Filters: Monitor pressure drop across filters and replace elements periodically or when pressure drop becomes excessive.
- Regular Inspection: Check for electrical faults, mechanical failures (stuck valve spool, damaged springs, worn seals), and hydraulic issues (oil contamination, leaks).
