Single vs Double Groove Cutting Patterns
Double Groove (Cross Pattern): Ideal for low-density materials such as wood, plastic, and aluminum. The cross pattern provides fast chip removal and prevents clogging during grinding and engraving operations.
Single Groove: Best suited for hard materials including iron, copper, and steel. While single groove tools may clog with softer materials, they deliver superior performance on dense metals.
Carbide Rotary File Technical Properties
