ADSS cable utilizes Loose Tube stranded fibers (250μm) positioned into high modulus plastic tubes filled with water-resistant compound. The tubes and fillers are stranded around a FRP non-metallic strength member forming a compact circular core. After filling with compound, the core is covered with PE inner sheath, followed by aramid yarn strength member layer, and completed with PE or AT (anti-tracking) outer sheath.
