ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting) cable is a specialized fiber optic cable that uses all-dielectric materials with non-metallic, non-conducting properties. The insulating material resists the passage of electric current through the cable.
Our Aramid Yarn G652D ADSS Communication Fiber Optic Cable features a loose-jacketed stranded structure. Single-mode or multimode optical fibers are jacketed into high-modulus plastic loose tubes filled with water-repellent compound. These tubes are twisted around a central nonmetallic FRP reinforcement to form a compact circular cable core, with aramid fiber reinforcement and polyethylene or electric trace-resistant outer sheath.
