All Dielectric Self Supporting cable (ADSS) is a type of fiber optic cable designed for aerial applications. This innovative cable doesn't require a messenger for support, enabling single-pass installation.
What is ADSS All Dielectric Self Supported Optical Cable?
The Aramid Yarn G652D ADSS Communication Fiber Optic Cable features a loose-jacketed stranded structure. Single-mode or multimode optical fibers are housed in high-modulus plastic loose tubes filled with water-repellent compound. These tubes are twisted around a central FRP reinforcement to form a compact cable core, with aramid fiber reinforcement and PE or electric trace-resistant outer sheath.
