All-dielectric self-supporting optical cable (ADSS) is metal-free, tensile, self-supporting, high-insulation, non-inductive, small in diameter, light in weight, convenient in construction and economical. It is a composite fiber optic cable consisting of wrapping a fiber bundle around a central strength member with protective measures including insulation, waterproofing, abrasion resistance, good heat dissipation, tensile strength, low loss, reinforcement and jacketing.

Aramid Yarn G652D ADSS Communication Fiber Optic Cable adopts a loose-jacketed stranded structure. Single-mode or multimode optical fiber is jacketed into a high-modulus plastic loose tube filled with water-repellent compound. The tube is twisted around a central nonmetallic FRP reinforcement to form a compact circular cable core, with gaps filled by water-blocking filler. The cable core is reinforced with aramid fiber and sheathed with polyethylene or electric trace-resistant outer material.
