The GDTS photoelectric hybrid cable features single mode or multi-mode fiber packed into a loose tube made of high-modulus polyester material, filled with waterproof compound. The cable core centers around a metal reinforcement core, with some configurations requiring an additional polyethylene layer. A compact circular cable core is formed by stranding the loose sleeve and insulating copper wire around the central reinforcing core, with gaps filled by water-blocking filler. The cable is completed with double chrome coated plastic steel strip (PSP) rolled longitudinally and extruded polyethylene sheath.
