Dried snow pear originated from the processed variety of snow pear in Zhao County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, China. The area where pears are grown is large and the quality is good. It is used to treat thirst due to heat illness and body fluid deficiency, clear thirst, hot cough, phlegm-heat shock and mania, dysphagia and constipation. It is just right for consumption in hot and dry areas. The processing of dried pears is carried out in family workshops. Due to its simplicity, which only involves two steps: slicing and drying, there are over a hundred small and medium-sized processing plants in the entire county processing dried pears!
