AZ150 coating provides single surface thickness of 18 microns and double surface thickness of 36 microns. The coating alloy composition of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silica creates a passivating barrier against general corrosion. When exposed to moisture or electrolytes, zinc ions flow to protect exposed steel, trimmed edges, and scratches through galvanic action.
