The AC7Z020 core board features a ZYNQ chip based on XILINX's ZYNQ7000 series XC7Z020-2CLG400I. The PS system integrates two ARM Cortex™-A9 processors with AMBA® interconnects, internal memory, external memory interfaces, and peripherals. The FPGA contains rich programmable logic units, DSP, and internal RAM.
The board utilizes two Micron MT41K256M16TW-107 DDR3 chips (512MB each) forming a 32-bit data bus with clock frequencies up to 533Mhz, enabling high-bandwidth data processing. Interface connections include:
- USB interface at PS end
- Gigabit Ethernet interface
- SD card interface
- 122 total IO ports (BANK13, BANK34, BANK35) with adjustable levels
The compact 35×42mm design features equal-length and differential traces between ZYNQ chip and interfaces, making it ideal for secondary development.
