Setup Instructions
- Download the APP, and register your account.
- Charge the camera for 4~6 hours.
- Install the micro SD card (not included in the package) for keep recordings
- Turn on camera, red light will steady on, wait for 20 seconds, the red light will flash and you will hear voice prompt of "Ready to Pair".
- Use pin to hold the reset button for 7-8 seconds, the red light will go off and you will hear a AI voice of "Reset Successfully", then release the reset button. The red light will light on again after 10s and you will hear AI voice of "Ready to Pair", which means reset has completed.
- Pair the camera through the following path in the app: Click "Add device" on the homepage >> Click "Camera&Clock" >> Click "QR Code" >> Click "Wi-Fi Mode" >> Click "Next Step" >> Click "AP Mode" >> Enter your home router 2.4GHz WiFi network and name >> Click "Next" >> Click "Go to connect" >> access the wifi settings of your phone, find and connect the device's hotspot, which is named with "SmartLife-xxxx" or "SL-xxxx"
- Return to the app and it will automatically jump to the Adding device interface. If it does not automatically jump to this interface, please click "please click "Confirm hot spot connection, next" to enter the pairing interface), wait for successful pairing.
- Pair successfully and enjoy your Smoke Detector Hidden Camera.
Troubleshooting
- Check if the camera is charged correctly, please use the USB cable and ≥1A charger (not included) provided in the package to charge the camera.
- If the camera cannot connect, check whether the entered WiFi network name and password are correct. The camera only supports a 2.4GHz WiFi network.
- Reset the camera before connecting it, otherwise the camera will not be able to connect successfully.
Important Notes
- The Smoke Detector Hidden Camera has no real smoke detection function.
- Only supports 2.4 GHz WiFi connection.
- Supports up to 64GB SD card (not included in the package).
- Can record continuously for about 4 hours after fully charged.
- Does not support audio recording function.
- Video pixels can be adjusted in the app according to your WiFi network signal.
- Motion detection has three sensitivity levels, adjustable in the app.
- WiFi network signal strength will affect recording stability.
