Product Description
The Battery Nail Penetrating Tester evaluates battery safety by using a steel nail to penetrate the battery under controlled conditions. This test verifies the battery's safety capability, with qualified batteries showing no fire or explosion when penetrated.
Testing Process
Tests are conducted at 20℃±5℃. The battery specimen includes a thermocouple on its largest surface. The battery is placed in a fuming cupboard, and a stainless steel nail (2-8mm diameter) penetrates the center of the largest side at 10-40mm/s, remaining for 5 seconds.
