Product Description
QPL7442TR7 Wideband Low-Noise High-Gain MMIC pHEMT RF Amplifier
The QPL7442TR7 is a wideband, low-noise, high-gain MMIC pHEMT single-ended RF amplifier designed for broadband signal amplification. It delivers consistent performance across a broad frequency range with low power consumption, making it suitable for diverse RF front-end applications.
Key Functions
Broadband High-Gain Amplification
Provides 20 dB flat gain across 50 MHz to 4000 MHz (50 MHz-4 GHz), ensuring stable signal boost for multi-band systems without frequency-specific tuning.
Ultra-Low Noise & High Linearity
Achieves a low noise figure (1.2 dB @ 1.2 GHz; 1.5 dB @ 3.25 GHz) to preserve weak signal integrity. Boasts high linearity (OIP3: 33.7 dBm @ 1.2 GHz; 31.1 dBm @ 3.25 GHz), minimizing signal distortion even under high-input power conditions.
Low-Power & Flexible Operation
Operates on a single 5-10 V supply with 85-120 mA current, reducing system power budgets. Supports adjustable bias via external resistors, allowing customization for specific power/performance needs.
Compact & Robust Packaging
Encased in a 2 mm * 2 mm 8-pin DFN package (surface-mount) with excellent temperature stability (-40°C to 100°C) and low VSWR (≤1.39), suitable for space-constrained or harsh-environment designs.
Typical Applications
  • Cable & Broadcast Systems - Cable modems, digital set-top boxes, and CATV amplifiers/nodes (supports DOCSIS extended spectrum)
  • Satellite & Terrestrial Communication - Low-noise amplifiers (LNAs) for satellite/terrestrial TV receivers and ground-based communication front-ends
  • Home & Enterprise Networking - Home gateways and CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) front-ends, enhancing broadband signal reception
  • Automotive Electronics - RF front-ends for 5G V2X communication, millimeter-wave radar (sensor fusion), and in-vehicle entertainment systems (supports multi-band signal processing in smart cars)
  • General RF Gain Blocks - Single-ended gain modules for test equipment, wireless infrastructure, and IoT device signal chains
