Product Description
AD5621AKSZ-REEL7: Low-Power 12-Bit SPI DAC for Precision Programmable Voltage Control
Product Overview

The AD5621AKSZ-REEL7 is a single-channel 12-bit buffered voltage-output DAC from Analog Devices, part of the nanoDAC® family. It operates from a 2.7V to 5.5V single supply, features low power consumption, and is housed in a compact 6-lead SC-70 package.

Key Features
  • 12-Bit Precision DAC: Converts digital input to analog voltage with rail-to-rail output swing and 6 µs settling time
  • Low-Power Operation: Draws 75 µA (typical) at 5V; power-down mode reduces current to 0.2 µA (typical at 3V)
  • SPI Serial Interface: 3-wire interface up to 30 MHz, compatible with SPI/QSPI/MICROWIRE/DSP standards
  • Power-On Reset: Output resets to 0V on power-up; includes brownout detection and three power-down modes
  • Monotonic & Compact: Ensured monotonicity; tiny SC-70-6 package for space-constrained designs
Applications
  • Portable Electronics: Battery-powered devices, handheld instruments, and portable medical devices
  • Industrial Control: Sensor calibration, analog signal conditioning, and programmable voltage/current sources
  • Consumer Audio: Volume control, tone adjustment, and audio effect tuning
  • Test & Measurement: Calibrated analog signal generation for equipment testing and data acquisition
  • Automotive: Low-power actuator control and dashboard instrumentation
