SC18IS604PWJ is an SPI-to-I²C bridge chip designed for embedded, industrial, IoT and automotive applications, providing seamless interface conversion between SPI hosts and I²C-bus peripherals.
Core Functions
This bridge chip acts as an interface between the standard SPI port of host devices (microcontrollers, microprocessors, chipsets) and serial I²C-bus peripherals, enabling direct communication between the host and various I²C-bus devices.
It operates as an I²C-bus controller-transmitter or controller-receiver, independently managing all I²C-bus-specific communication sequences, protocols, bus arbitration and timing control.
