Supports standard CAN 2.0A/B and flexible data-rate CAN FD with variable payload length up to 64 bytes per frame
Complies with ISO 11898-2 featuring short-circuit protection, thermal shutdown, under-voltage lockout, and ESD protection
Internal linear regulator supplies stable power for controller core directly from vehicle battery input
Direct interface with host microcontroller via SPI bus for CAN message transmission and reception. Configurable bit rates for arbitration phase and data phase independently. Integrated watchdog monitors SPI communication and MCU operation, triggering reset upon communication failure.
