LMC555CTP/NOPB is low-power CMOS 555 timer for delay, pulse generation, PWM and simple switch control circuits
The LMC555CTP/NOPB is a low-power CMOS version of the classic 555 timer IC from TI, designed for delay, pulse generation, PWM, and simple switch control circuits.
This IC integrates comparators, voltage divider resistors, flip-flop, discharge transistor, and output stage in a single package. It operates across a wide voltage range of 1.8V to 18V with low supply current and features rail-to-rail swing capability with reduced noise compared to bipolar 555 timers.
Generates continuous adjustable square-wave clock signals without external trigger. Ideal for pulse generation, LED flashing, and tone circuits.
Single trigger pulse outputs fixed-duration delay signals. Used for timing applications, debouncing, and delayed switching control.
Two trigger inputs form a simple latch circuit for switch state locking and anti-jitter key detection applications.
- Timing circuits: Power-on delay, automatic shutdown timer, time delay switch
- Pulse & signal generation: Clock pulse source, LED flash controller, buzzer audio generator
- Switch control: Touch switch, anti-jitter key circuit, simple logic latch
- Signal conditioning: Signal debouncing, pulse width modulation (PWM) signal generation
- Low-power portable equipment: Battery-powered toy timing, portable indicator light drive
Low power consumption, wide voltage range, minimal external components, flexible timing adjustment, reduced noise, and simplified circuit design.
