The CG125 motor (starter motor) is the core component of the engine starting system. It drives the rotor to rotate via 12V DC power and drives the engine crankshaft through a reduction gear to achieve cold or hot engine starting. It is compatible with the Honda CG125 and Zhuhai ZJ125, Xingfu XF125, and other 125cc four-stroke overbone motorcycles on the same platform, ensuring smooth and durable starting. Before installation: Confirm the motor model (power/reduction ratio) is consistent with the original vehicle and check the engagement gap between the drive gear and flywheel ring (about 0.3–0.5mm); During installation: Secure with bolts (torque 15–20 N·m), connect the power wire (red) and ground wire (black/green), ensuring secure wiring (the power wire should include a 50A fuse in series); Routine maintenance: Regularly check brush wear (every 10000 km) and replace promptly if severely worn; Avoid long continuous pressing during start-up (single press ≤5 seconds to prevent coil overheating); In winter low temperatures, preheat the battery first (e.g., idle charging for 5 minutes) before starting the motor to reduce starting resistance.
