High Efficient Aluminum End Mills Long Lasting Uncoated With 30 Degrees Helix Angle
Product Description:
Polishing And Passivation Process
Unique polishing passivation process is implemented to significantly decrease the coefficient of friction. This process is particularly suitable for aluminum with gold, copper alloy, tempered plastic, and other non-metallic materials.
Sharp Edge Design
The incorporation of a sharp blade design helps in minimizing cutting resistance and notably reduces the formation of burrs and vibration marks. The deep groove design optimizes chip evacuation function for enhanced performance.
High Performance Aluminum Cutter
By employing fine grinding techniques, the issue of chip sticking is effectively resolved. This ensures the achievement of higher standards in appearance effects and improved metal removal efficiency.
Features:
Material:
Typically made from carbide (solid carbide or carbide-tipped) for rigidity and heat resistance.
Flute Count:
Usually 2 or 3 flutes. Fewer flutes prevent chip clogging and improve chip evacuation (important for soft materials like aluminum).
Helix Angle:
High helix angles (typically 35°–45°) enhance chip removal and reduce heat buildup.
Surface Coating (or uncoated):
Often uncoated or coated with ZrN, TiB2, or DLC for better lubricity and reduced aluminum adhesion (galling). TiN is less common due to aluminum’s tendency to stick to it.
Geometry:
Polished flutes and sharp cutting edges help reduce built-up edge (BUE) and increase tool life. Corner radius or ball nose may be used for specific applications.
