Manufacturing Process
Terbium acetate hydrate is prepared by dissolving terbium oxide in 50% acetic acid using steam bath heating. The solution is filtered if residues remain, then concentrated at 75°C water bath and crystallized by cooling. The resulting crystals are collected and dried in a vacuum desiccator with NaOH/Mg(ClO₄)₂ to obtain the final product.
