Product Description
Engineered for aggressive shell-and-tube exchangers, this studded tube starts with low-carbon 316L seamless stainless steel to ASTM A312, then carries rows of automatically welded studs that triple the gas-side surface and trigger intense turbulence. Even at 650 °C in sour flue gas or acid condensate, the molybdenum-bearing, extra-low-carbon grade resists pitting, crevice and intergranular attack, delivering five-fold life versus carbon-steel alternatives. The result is reliable duty in refinery FCC, offshore platform, LNG liquefaction, fertilizer and waste-to-energy heat-recovery trains.
