The alloy composition of approximately 5% Chromium (Cr) and 0.5% Molybdenum (Mo) in T5 material guarantees this performance: Molybdenum (Mo) effectively enhances the tube's high-temperature strength and creep resistance, ensuring long-term stability under high stress; while Chromium (Cr) provides it with oxidation resistance far superior to carbon steel, enabling the formation of a dense, protective oxide layer on the external tube wall to resist oxidation from hot flue gases and on the internal wall to resist oxidation from high-pressure steam. This significantly extends the service life and maintenance intervals of the components.
